LANDSCAPE DESIGN PROCESS

HortiCraft Landscaping has a wealth of landscape design & construction experience and our design team can provide you with countless innovative ideas catering to every budget.  Our design process is broken down into phases and here is a description of how and what will happen:

Initial Contact Phase:
When you CONTACT US, we will arrange a meeting with you for an on-site consultation.  This will be the first step to making your landscape vision become a reality.  To make this meeting as informative and productive as possible please provide us with as much detail as you can (pertaining to your ideas and requirements). It will help us prepare for the initial consultation.

Initial Consultation Phase:
This first meeting is about us becoming familiar with your property, your specific needs and your expectations. Consider it a time of discovery for both parties, after-all you will want to become familiar with HortiCraft Landscaping and how we work as well.

Design Concept & Budget Discussion Phase:
Here is where we combine your ideas & requests with our creative experience & technology to produce a scaled concept drawing of your dream landscape. It will be a custom design, tailored to your property and needs.  To initiate the design phase we will require a financial commitment from you to cover the basic costs of this very personal and creative process.
Allow 2-5 weeks on average from initial meeting, for the design phase to be completed.  Once you have had a first view of the concept plan, we will be providing you with a quotation reflecting the costs to implement this plan. We will discuss whether and how itemized prices for the various components may need to be reduced or increased depending on your choice of materials or any design changes that you may wish to have made.

Final Design & Contract Proposal Phase:
The final design drawings with all changes incorporated are being presented. At the conclusion of this meeting you should feel secure in the knowledge of what your costs will be and the estimated time frame for construction is determined. By now you will have the confidence that you have entered into an agreement with the right company to implement your project.
